\nDr. Joly graduated from the Facult\u00e9 de m\u00e9decine v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire of the Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al in 1978 and began his practice in 1979 in Sherbrooke.<\/p>\n
The retired equine veterinarian Dr. Normand Joly recently donated an ultrasound and a\u00a0X-ray machine to the CHUV’s Equine Hospital to express his gratitude to the team members who have supported him throughout his career.<\/p>\n
\nDr. Joly graduated from the Facult\u00e9 de m\u00e9decine v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire of the Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al in 1978 and began his practice in 1979 in Sherbrooke.<\/p>\n
In 1988, he was appointed director of the American Fondouk, a charitable veterinary clinic in Morocco that provides care for equines. He worked there for six years before returning to Quebec in 1994. He then worked for two years in collaboration with Dr. Rex Decroix in Lanaudi\u00e8re.<\/p>\n
During his last 10 years of practice, he has developed a passion for dentistry and has gained recognition from the community for his practice. Dr. Joly believes that, ironically, retirement is when you are at your best.<\/p>\n
The specialists at the CHUV have had a positive impact on his practice, especially upon his return from Morocco, by answering his questions on more challenging cases. Grateful to the CHUV team for their support, Dr. Joly decided to make this donation to express his gratitude and to offer his contribution to the teaching of future veterinarians.<\/p>\n
