Infertility follow ups

 

The Theriogenology Service offers follow ups for infertile cows and heifers. The affected animal’s estrus cycle (ovulation) can be followed by ultrasound and hormonal analysis can be performed.

The animal’s uterine health can be evaluated with the help of specific tests such as vaginoscopy, endometrial cytology and bacteriology of the uterine content, uterine biopsies and uterine ultrasonography.

Depending on the specificity of the cases, our team can either go to the farm or have the animal come to the CHUV’s Farm Animal Hospital.
