The Neurology Service

The CHUV is the only veterinary institution in the province of Quebec to own a high power field (1.5 T) magnetic resonance imaging apparatus, therefore allowing high quality diagnotics for brain, spinal cord and periferal nerve disease.  The neurology service also has the necessary electrodiagnostic equipment to screen for deafness, perform electromyography as well as electroencephalography.  We also offer 24 emergency service and intensive care for unstable and critical patients.
